SPAIN CONDEMNS PRESIDENT
In a cowardly move, Spain not only insults our president, but the entire country.
The ambassador, the voice of Spain herself, recently sent a letter back to his home country. Said letter, now being referred to as the "deLome Letters", were intercepted and printed in papers throughout America.
Outrage is spreading like wildfire through the states, with many citizens demanding action. Protests over Spanish involvement in the southern islands are ever more prominent, and there can be no foreseeable alternative but war with Spain.
How much longer must the poor islanders, like those in Cuba, endure such horrid treatment? How much longer will the States remain calm under such demeaning insults?
Simply put, war is a necessity. War is the only way.
